Messi..Messi..Messi, MessiMessiMessi

1) Most soccer "expects" predicted Real Madrid to overcome Barcelona in the first leg of the CL game. You were WRONG. Just because they got confidence winning the Copa does not make it a given they would beat them a week later.
2) Pepe is an idiot. He needs to calm down on the field; be aggressive, but don't go for the kill.
3) Messi is so good.

4) Mourihno blames a non-profit SPONSOR for giving red cards out. I think he was drunk. I'm not sure how this even makes sense.
4) Press not letting players/managers talk to press right after game. This is why: Mourinho: "What did I say to the referee? Nothing, I just laughed. If I say what I feel now, my career ends."

5) Messi is SO good.
6) Madrid should seriously consider starting (or even playing) Kaka. He's still amazing. 7) Pep would adopt Messi if he could.

Finally, this video shows the difference between Cristiano and Messi: Messi would get the ball. Just kidding. But really, Cristiano has no patience, has tantrums every game and looks to blame his team mates for his suffering.

Vizca Barça was TT Worldwide all day. Was Hala Madrid? Nope. Of course these are just my observations, always.

The El Niño and El Guaje Day

Villa surely deserved a goal. [pic via @barcastuff]

As my friend said, @FCstartingXINice to see the starting Espana NT forwards getting back to scoring goals. Fernando Torres & David Villa :)
Couldn't have said it better. FCB v Osasuna: Pep started the match out with some confidence: Pedro, Pique, Xavi and Iniesta all benched and Milito in. A little bit through the match I was bombarded with home feed tweets about Fernando. Good God finally child. I love you Nando but your celebration was a little over the top, act like you've scored before. And that pile? Come on...
Villa has passion like no other player. [pic via @barcastuff]
David Villa had a goal (24') as well as the little one (87') (...or alien as Jozy Altidore said). Villa's goal was his 18th of the Liga season. Messi's was his 50th, unbelievable. Safe to say, WATCH OUT PELE.

Strikers do more than just Score.

La Liga's third leading goal scorer:

Behind Messi and Ronaldo. No more thinking he's not scoring enough. (Including you, David Villa)

El Clasico Part 1: BAR 1-1 MAD

Real Madrid is celebrated their "tie-victory" over Barcelona yesterday.
Messi Finishing PK 1-0 (50') [via @barcastuff]

David Villa didn't have his best game but what was with Madrid taking him down whenever possible? He's offsides an awful lot, but it's better to be fighting to be up there then ...never up there.

In minute 25, Messi played a great through ball to Villa but Casillas took him down -- NO PENALTY! Casillas doesn't even touch the ball. First Real jerk of the game: Iker.

Next, David gets taken down by Albiol. Completely wraps his arms around El Guaje's neck WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. Second Real jerk: Raúl Albiol. Looking at the positives: We got a goal from this. Thank you, David. and Messi of course. It's almost a given when Messi is taking a PK.

Di Maria's shots are awful. Why is Kaka not getting on the starting xi? OH what do you know.

Villa taken down by Pepe.  And as the commentator said, "Pepe wants to be a referee today." Third Real jerk: Pepe.

Next we have Villa getting taken down again. Fourth Real jerk: Álvaro Arbeloa.

My favorite part of the match was hearing Pep scream, "Andres! Andres!" ...just like in Crackovia.

Another observation: whenever Cristiano takes a free kick, he stands like he is some kind of god... and then misses.

"Want to switch teams?"
I wasn't sure what Alves was doing in the penalty area, taking down the Madrid player. He could have left it and guarentee Valdes would have saved it (if it even would have got to him). But that's how Madrid's goal came. PK for Mr. Perfect Hair. And, quit stinking your tongue out. Again.... Crackovia.

PS. about Madrid throwing trash at Messi....think I did that in high school. Actually, probably middle school. (AND lasers?!) Stay classy..

El Clasico round dos: Valencia, Wednesday, April 20. Be ready for Barcelona to be angry. They don't accept ties.

When In Doubt, Messi.

It's not impossible to score on Barca.
Barcelona only beat Almeria (Liga's last place team) by two goals yesterday. The mistakes happened early: Pep was tired and accidentally had Bojan in the starting XI instead of Villa (or Pedro). Bojan (sadly) got injured early on and now will be out for the remainder of the season. Almeria scored first, Corona on a 2 to 1 breakaway. First goal they have ever scored at Camp Nou and his reward? Gets subbed off.

Iniesta didn't show up mentally, but has a new born baby at home which is a decent excuse. I was not happy about Diego Alves taking out David Villa in the box but hey, we got a penalty out of it and that's obvi a goal when Messi's taking it. 19-year-old Thiago got a header of a goal as well. Messi scores Barca's last goal by being a little thief and stealing the ball away from the defender, had his normal little breakaway and pop!  He deserves an ice cream cone.

Yella cards!
Who got 'em: Villa (foul), Bojan (hand), Mascherano (foul) and will miss match against Real Madrid (but so will Ramos so lets call it even).

Also, need to give Cristiano some credit. He held the title for Liga's top goal scorer for a good hour (28 goals). Unfortunately for him, his hair, his ego and pride, there was a Barcelona game right after. Messi took home 2 goals making him the leader yet again with 29 goals.

Guardiola: "I'm not worried Villa doesn't score. I'm happy with how he works for the team."

What In the [soccer] World....?

Futbol is rapidly becoming more popular. Some weird things have happened in the soccer world lately that made me turn my head like my yorkie terrier does when she is confused.
First, Chad Ochocinco, who plays for the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL, has tried out with Sporting Kansas City. This brought major attention to the MLS but it was not very reasonable for him to do; especially since he's never trained with a professional soccer team before. But good for him, if he wants to play, let him play. At least it's not American football.
Second, Justin Bieber had his first training session with FC Barcelona! Watch out Bojan, he's got footy skill. This picture does show his jealousy of the Bieb's pretty good.
Love it.
Next: Michael Jackson statue at Fulham Stadium? I don't know what to say about this. Sorry, it's just awkward. Lastly, Leo Messi has finally joined the world. The social networking world. He has earned almost 7 million fans in a day. Currently he is 16,260,488 fans behind Ronaldo. Surely he will pass him in a matter of hours.
