*I want to be clear that the score should have been 3-0. When Rooney scored, it was very apparent a United player was offsides.* But that doesn't matter anymore :) What the most awesome thing about the match (besides the winning part) was DAVID VILLA'S AMAZING GOAL! He was just on fiya today. A brilliant top-corner goal, completely unsaveable. Oh sorry, Messi's goal was before that. He pretty much bended it like Beckham, around 2 defenders and the goalie. He was so, so happy. And of course, Pep was even happier. This was Messi's third Champions League title. Our own MVP scored today, so I'm stating this now that we-do-not-need-Rossi. However, we may still need Cesc. One of my favorite quotes of the day came from Fergie: "We were beaten by a better team," Sir Alex Ferguson said, "But there is no shame in losing to Barcelona."

Barcelona in London

Barcelona players are now in London, training at Arsenal's ground (aka the home of Cesc). So far, I have seen a couple of pretty serious, hard-core training pictures, such as this one:

The Champions League Final is this Saturday at Wembley v Manchester United. There is a rumor going around that if Barcelona wins, they give up on Cesc. If they lose, they will make a bid for him. That has really ruined the whole game for me. yay if we win, yay if we lose.

New Jerseys

I don't know what to say about the new jerseys. Not in my favor. Let's all just agree with who wears them is the most important part.

Actually I won't let them get off the hook that easily. Nike what did you do?! The plain black is nothing compared to their pretty mint green away kit. Victor is going to be blended in with the grass so we won't be able to see his pretty body anymore and the home kits just aren't working. Good thing we have the most attractive guys in La Liga to make these jerseys look good.
I'm glad I bought their home jersey this year, since I'll be wearing that one for the next 5 years...
